If you go live on TikTok from your phone, the phone’s own mic is the weak link. It’s metres away, it picks up the whole room, and it drops out the moment you turn your head. A clip-on wireless mic fixes all of that, and it’s the single biggest upgrade for phone streams. (Here’s how we choose products.)
The catch is the plug. Apple says iPhone 15 and later have USB-C, so most of these receivers plug straight in, the same as on an Android phone. iPhone 14 and older use Lightning, and most kits don’t include a Lightning adapter. So every pick below tells you exactly what’s in the box for your phone, plus whether you can charge the phone while you’re live, which matters for a two-hour stream.
- Best overall: DJI Mic Mini 2 (#1)
- Best budget for long lives: BOYA BY-V20 (#2)
- Best for iPhone 15 and later: Hollyland Lark M2S (#3)
- Best for older Lightning iPhones: HMKCH K30 (#9)

1. DJI Mic Mini 2 (2 TX + 1 Mobile RX + Charging Case)
by DJI
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Most phone streamers. Whether you go live solo or with a co-host, it plugs into any USB-C phone, and DJI’s ecosystem is the creator default.
Verdict: Our pick for most people. You get two 11g magnetic transmitters, a Mobile Receiver that plugs straight into a USB-C phone, and a case that DJI says gives up to 48 hours of use. There are three voice tone presets, two levels of noise cancelling and auto limiting to stop sudden shouts clipping. DJI also says you can charge the phone and receiver through the receiver’s USB-C port while you’re live. The transmitters can pair to a phone directly over Bluetooth, but DJI says that depends on the app, so use the receiver for TikTok.
What we like
- Mobile Receiver plugs straight into USB-C phones, including iPhone 15 and later
- Charge your phone through the receiver while you’re live (DJI)
- Two mics for co-hosted lives, plus noise cancelling and auto limiting
- Sold by Amazon when we checked
Worth knowing
- Lightning iPhones need DJI’s USB-C-to-Lightning adapter, which is sold separately
- Costs more than the budget kits here – check the current price

2. BOYA BY-V20 Wireless Lavalier Microphone (2 mics, USB-C)
by BOYA
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Budget streamers who go live for hours. You can keep the phone charging through the receiver while you stream.
Verdict: The budget pick we’d buy for TikTok Live, because of one feature: the USB-C receiver has its own USB-C port, so you can charge your phone (the listing says up to 3A, QC/PD) while the mic is plugged in. You get two 10.5g transmitters, foam windscreens, a one-button noise reduction mode and up to 9 hours per charge. The listing names iPhone 15 and 16 alongside Android phones.
What we like
- Charge your phone through the receiver while live (up to 3A, per the listing)
- Two mics and two windscreens in the box
- One-press noise reduction
- Dispatched by Amazon
Worth knowing
- USB-C only: no Lightning adapter, so not for iPhone 14 and older
- No charging case. The mics run about 9 hours, then need a cable
- Sold by a third-party seller (COCOGEAR-EU)

3. Hollyland Lark M2S (Mobile, USB-C)
by Hollyland
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: iPhone 15, 16 and 17 owners (and Android users) who want a mic that barely shows on camera.
Verdict: The most discreet mic here. Each transmitter is a 7g, pearl-sized button with a titanium clip and no visible logo, so it disappears on a T-shirt. Hollyland lists 24-bit/48kHz audio, two noise cancellation levels in the LarkSound app, 9 hours per charge and 27 hours with the case. The receiver plugs into the USB-C port, and the listing names iPhone 15, 16 and 17 plus Android and Mac.
What we like
- Tiny 7g transmitters with no visible logo
- Listing names iPhone 15/16/17, Android and Mac via USB-C
- You can play back recordings without unplugging the receiver
- Sold by Hollyland’s own store, dispatched by Amazon
Worth knowing
- This is the USB-C version. There’s no Lightning adapter, so it’s not for iPhone 14 and older
- The listing doesn’t mention charging your phone through the receiver
Key specs
- In the box
- 2 transmitters, USB-C mobile receiver, charging case
- Phone connection
- USB-C (iPhone 15/16/17, Android, Mac per listing)

4. BOYA Mini 2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone (2 mics, USB-C)
by BOYA
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Budget buyers who want proper controls (gain, noise cancelling and EQ) from a free app, and a charging case.
Verdict: A lot of mic for the money. The transmitters weigh just 5g, and the free BOYA Central app lets you adjust gain, noise cancellation (from Light at -15dB to Strong at -40dB) and EQ. There’s a limiter and a separate -12dB safety track to guard against clipping, plus up to 30 hours from the charging case. The receiver is USB-C, and the title names iPhone 15 and 16.
What we like
- App control of gain, noise cancelling and EQ
- Limiter plus a -12dB safety track
- Charging case, up to 30 hours total
- Dispatched by Amazon

5. Hollyland LARK A2 Solo (1 TX + USB-C RX)
by Hollyland
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Solo streamers who only need one mic and want the smart features: AI noise cancelling, auto-limit and a safety track.
Verdict: If it’s only ever you on camera, there’s no point paying for two mics. This kit has one 8.5g transmitter and a USB-C receiver. Hollyland lists 48kHz/24-bit audio, AI noise cancelling with three levels, AI auto-limit and a -6dB safety track, with tap controls on the mic itself (one tap for noise cancelling, two to mute). It runs up to 7 hours per charge, or 9 with power saving.
What we like
- Tap controls on the mic: noise cancelling, mute and record
- AI noise cancelling (3 levels), auto-limit and a -6dB safety track
- Up to 200m range (listing)
- Sold by Hollyland’s own store, dispatched by Amazon
Worth knowing
- One mic only, so no co-hosts
- USB-C receiver, so not for Lightning iPhones
- The listing’s box-contents field describes a different kit, so go by the bullets: 1 transmitter and 1 USB-C receiver
Key specs

- Phone connection
- USB-C
- Battery
- Up to 7h (9h with power saving)

6. DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case)
by DJI
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Creators who go live on a phone but also film on a camera, because the standard receiver does both.
Verdict: The original Mic Mini uses DJI’s standard receiver, which connects to a phone with the included USB-C adapter or to a camera with the included 3.5mm cable. That makes it the more flexible kit if you also shoot on a camera. You get two 10g transmitters, two noise cancelling levels, auto limiting and up to 48 hours from the case. DJI says you can charge the phone and receiver together through the receiver’s USB-C port.
What we like
- Works with phones (USB-C adapter) and cameras (3.5mm cable), both in the box
- Two 10g mics with noise cancelling and auto limiting
- Charge your phone through the receiver while live (DJI)
- Sold by Amazon when we checked
Worth knowing
- Lightning iPhones need DJI’s Lightning phone adapter, which is sold separately
- No internal recording on the transmitters (DJI)
Key specs
- In the box
- 2 transmitters, receiver, USB-C phone adapter, 3.5mm camera cable, charging case
- Phone connection
- USB-C adapter; Lightning adapter sold separately
- Charge while live
- Yes, via the receiver's USB-C port (DJI)
- Battery
- Up to 48h with case
- Range
- Up to 400m (listing)

7. DJI Mic Mini 2S (1 TX + 1 Mobile RX + Charging Case)
by DJI
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Solo creators who stream and also record clips, and want a backup copy on the mic itself in case the phone audio goes wrong.
Verdict: The step-up solo kit. The 2S transmitter records internally in 32-bit float (DJI quotes up to 28 hours of 24-bit storage), so you’ve got a clean backup if the live audio clips or drops. It adds DJI’s AI noise cancelling with two levels and three tone presets, and the case gives up to 40 hours. The kit uses the same USB-C Mobile Receiver as the Mic Mini 2.
What we like
- 32-bit float internal recording as a backup
- AI noise cancelling, two levels
- Mobile Receiver plugs into USB-C phones, including iPhone 15 and later
- Sold by Amazon when we checked
Worth knowing
- One mic in this kit
- Lightning iPhones need DJI’s separately sold adapter
Key specs
- In the box
- 1 transmitter, Mobile Receiver (USB-C), charging case
- Phone connection
- USB-C plug; Lightning via separate DJI adapter
- Internal recording
- 32-bit float (listing)
- Battery
- Up to 40h with case (listing)

8. BOYA BY-V30 Wireless Lavalier Microphone with Charging Case (USB-C)
by BOYA
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Budget streamers who’d rather drop the mics in a charging case than remember to plug them in.
Verdict: BOYA’s no-app option with a charging case. Two 10.5g mics clip on with 360° clips, pair automatically, and run up to 9 hours, with the case taking the total to 36 hours. There’s a one-press noise reduction button. It’s USB-C, and BOYA notes some Android phones need OTG switched on.
What we like
- Charging case, up to 36 hours total
- No app or Bluetooth needed. Auto-pairs on power-up
- Up to 100m range (listing)
- Dispatched by Amazon
Worth knowing

Key specs
- In the box
- 2 transmitters, USB-C receiver, charging case
- Phone connection
- USB-C (iPhone 15 and Android, per listing)
- Battery
- 9h, 36h with case

9. HMKCH K30 Wireless Lavalier Microphone (2 mics, USB-C + Lightning adapter)
by HMKCH
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Anyone streaming from a Lightning iPhone (iPhone 14 or older) who doesn’t want to buy an adapter separately.
Verdict: The easiest answer if you’re on an older iPhone. The box has a USB-C receiver plus an iOS (Lightning) adapter and a USB adapter, so the same kit works on a Lightning iPhone, a USB-C phone or a laptop. You get two mics, a noise reduction chip and up to 6 hours per charge. It’s a basic, little-known brand, so don’t expect DJI-level range: the listing says 20 metres.
What we like
- Lightning adapter in the box, so it works on iPhone 14 and older
- Also works on USB-C phones and laptops (USB adapter included)
- One receiver runs two mics at once, or just one
- Dispatched by Amazon
Worth knowing
- Short 20m range and 6-hour battery (listing)
- Little-known brand. Some Android phones need OTG or the Open Camera app
- Sold by a third-party seller (FengHanDirect)
Key specs
- In the box
- 2 transmitters, USB-C receiver, iOS (Lightning) adapter, USB adapter
- Phone connection
- USB-C, Lightning (adapter), USB-A (adapter)

by WARM BOX
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: First-time phone streamers who want to try a wireless mic cheaply, on any iPhone or Android.
Verdict: A cheap starter kit that covers every phone: a USB-C receiver, plus USB-C-to-Lightning and USB-C-to-USB-A adapters in the box. You get two mics with 360° clips, up to 7 hours each, noise cancellation, a double-tap mute and a reverb effect. It’s a simple kit from a small brand, with a short range of about 100 feet (around 30m).

- Lightning and USB-A adapters included, so it works with old and new iPhones
- Double-tap mute on the mic
- Two mics, up to 7 hours each

FAQ
Which wireless mics work with iPhone 15 and later?
All ten. Apple says iPhone 15 and later have USB-C, and every receiver here is USB-C (or comes with a USB-C plug), so they plug in the same way they do on an Android phone.
What about iPhone 14 or older (Lightning)?
Only the HMKCH K30 (#9) and WARM BOX J3 (#10) include a Lightning adapter in the box. The DJI kits (#1, #6, #7) work with DJI’s Lightning adapter, which is sold separately. The BOYA and Hollyland kits here are the USB-C versions.
Can I charge my phone while streaming with a wireless mic?
With some. The BOYA BY-V20 (#2) has a USB-C pass-through on the receiver, and DJI says you can charge the phone through the receiver on the Mic Mini (#6) and its Mobile Receiver kits (#1, #7). The others don’t mention it.
Can I connect a DJI mic to TikTok by Bluetooth without the receiver?
DJI says the Mic Mini transmitters can pair directly over Bluetooth, but whether a live-streaming app accepts it depends on the app and your phone. Noise cancelling is also fixed at Strong in that mode. For TikTok Live, the receiver is the reliable option.
One mic or two?
One if it’s just you (#5, #7). Two if you go live with a co-host or do interviews, or if you want a spare. Most kits here include two.
