Every pick was under £50 on Amazon UK when we checked (11 October 2026, UK delivery address). Prices move, so use the buttons to check today’s price. (Here’s how we choose products.)

1. soundcore (Anker) Select 4 Go Bluetooth Speaker
by soundcore
Price & availability on Amazon.co.uk
Who it’s for: Anyone who plays music in the shower, the garden or on a trip, and doesn’t care about the badge on the front.
Verdict: Our pick for a speaker gift. It’s tiny but rated IP67, floats, has a strap and lasts up to 20 hours, per the listing, which is far longer than the JBL (#4). You can pair two for stereo. The only real trade-off is that soundcore doesn’t carry the same brand cachet as JBL.

FAQ
What's the best tech gift under £50?
It depends on who it’s for. For most people we’d pick the soundcore Select 4 Go speaker (#1). For a telly fan, a Fire TV stick (#2 or #5). For someone who loses things, the Tile (#3).
Fire TV Stick 4K Plus or 4K Max?
The 4K Max adds Wi-Fi 6E and Amazon’s Ambient Experience, per the listings. The 4K Plus has Wi-Fi 6 and is the better value unless they have a Wi-Fi 6E router.
Does a Tile need a subscription?
Not to work. Life360’s free plan includes Tile tracking, and paid plans add extras like Smart Alerts and longer location history, according to Life360’s plans page.
