Buying for a streamer is tricky: they’ve usually already got the mic, the webcam and the headset, and you don’t want to buy a second one. So this list skips the obvious stuff (we have separate guides for those) and sticks to gift-friendly creator kit that makes streaming and making videos easier: a Stream Deck, a phone gimbal, fast storage, proper headphones, a green screen, lav mics and a tripod. I’ve sorted them roughly from big present to stocking filler, and every one is on Amazon UK. (Here’s how we choose products.)

  • Best gift for streamers: Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 (#1)
  • Best for phone and TikTok creators: DJI Osmo Mobile 8 combo (#2)
  • Best for video editors: Samsung T7 1TB SSD (#3)
  • Best headphones for editing and monitoring: beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm (#4)
  • Best green screen: Elgato Green Screen XL (#5)
  • Best Stream Deck alternative with a USB hub: ULANZI D200H (#6)
  • Best lav mic for wireless kit owners: RØDE Lavalier GO (#7)
  • Best phone tripod: ULANZI MT-44 (#8)

Best gift for streamers

1. Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 (15 keys, black)

by Elgato

Who it’s for: Any streamer who still alt-tabs to switch scenes or mute their mic. It’s also handy for video editors and anyone with a lot of shortcuts.

Verdict: The classic streamer gift, and our top pick. It’s a little pad of 15 LCD keys, each with its own icon, that you set up in Elgato’s free software to do almost anything with one press: switch OBS scenes, mute your mic, play a sound effect, fire off a clip or control Spotify. There are plugins for Twitch, YouTube, Discord, OBS and lots more, and Smart Profiles change the layout depending on which app is open. It’s a classic ‘didn’t know I needed it’ gift.

What we like

  • 15 LCD keys you can label with your own icons
  • Huge plugin library: OBS, Twitch, Discord, Spotify and more
  • Removable stand and swappable faceplates
  • Sold by Amazon when we checked

Worth knowing

  • Needs a Windows or Mac computer – it’s not for console-only streamers
  • Membrane keys, not mechanical, if that matters to them

Best for phone and TikTok creators

2. DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Advanced Tracking Combo (phone gimbal)

by DJI

Who it’s for: Anyone who makes TikToks, Reels or Shorts on their phone, or streams IRL, and wants smooth footage and a shot that follows them around.

Verdict: For phone-first creators this is the big-ticket gift. It’s a 3-axis gimbal that keeps phone footage smooth, with 360° pan rotation and a built-in extension rod and tripod, so it doubles as a selfie stick and a desk stand. The combo adds DJI’s Multifunctional Module, which does subject tracking, has a fill light and can receive audio from DJI’s wireless mics. The listing gives up to 10 hours of battery, and it can charge your phone while you film.

What we like

  • Smooth 3-axis stabilisation for walking shots
  • Tracking module keeps them in frame, with a built-in light
  • Built-in extension rod and tripod, so no extra stand needed
  • Sold by Amazon when we checked

Worth knowing

  • DJI’s Mimo app isn’t on Google Play, per the listing – Android users download it from DJI’s site
  • More than most people need if they only film at a desk

Best for video editors

3. Samsung T7 Portable SSD 1TB (MU-PC1T0H/WW, Indigo Blue)

by Samsung

Who it’s for: Anyone who edits video, records long streams or juggles footage between a phone, a laptop and a PC.

Verdict: Every creator runs out of space, and this is the gift that fixes it. The Samsung T7 is a pocket-sized SSD with read speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and writes up to 1,000 MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2, which Samsung says is up to 9.5 times faster than an external hard drive. It comes with both USB-C to C and USB-C to A cables, so it works with PCs, Macs, Android phones and consoles. It survives drops of up to 2 metres, and you can password-protect it.

What we like

  • Fast enough to edit straight off the drive
  • Both USB-C and USB-A cables in the box
  • Drop-resistant to 2 m, with optional password encryption
  • Sold by Amazon when we checked

Worth knowing

  • Top speeds need a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port
  • 1TB fills up fast with 4K footage

Best headphones for editing and monitoring

4. beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO Closed-Back Studio Headphones (80 Ohm)

by beyerdynamic

Who it’s for: Creators who spend hours editing, mixing or monitoring their stream and want studio headphones rather than a gaming headset.

Verdict: A studio classic, and a gift that lasts for years. The DT 770 PRO is a closed-back over-ear headphone, so it doesn’t leak sound into the mic, with soft, replaceable velour ear pads that are comfortable for long sessions. The 80 Ohm version is the one we’d pick for most creators, because it’s easier to drive than the 250 Ohm model, which is best with a headphone amp. beyerdynamic makes it in Germany, and parts like the pads can be replaced. There’s no mic, so it suits someone who already has one.

What we like

  • Closed-back, so it won’t bleed into the microphone
  • Replaceable velour pads, comfortable for long edits
  • 80 Ohm is easier to drive than the 250 Ohm version

Worth knowing

  • No built-in mic – this is for listening, not a headset
  • Long 3m single-sided cable, which is a lot on a small desk
  • Sold by TTW Electronics, a third-party seller

Best green screen

5. Elgato Green Screen XL (collapsible, 200 × 182 cm)

by Elgato

Who it’s for: Streamers who want to key themselves out over gameplay, or hide a messy room, and have the floor space for a full-size screen.

Verdict: The pro way to do a green screen. Lift the top and the pneumatic X-frame pops the screen up and locks it in place; push it down and it disappears into its aluminium case. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant, which is what gives you a clean key in OBS or Streamlabs. At 200 × 182 cm it’s big enough to cover a gaming chair and then some. It’s the bulkiest gift here, so check they’ve got room for it.

What we like

  • Pops up and packs down in seconds
  • Wrinkle-resistant fabric for a cleaner key
  • Big enough to cover a chair and the wall behind it
  • Sold by Amazon when we checked

Worth knowing

  • 6.2 kg and floor-standing, so it needs space
  • Green screens need even lighting to key well

Best Stream Deck alternative with a USB hub

6. ULANZI D200H Stream Controller Deck with 7-in-1 Dock

by ULANZI

Who it’s for: Laptop creators who are short of ports, or anyone who wants a stream controller and a card reader in one box.

Verdict: A clever two-in-one for the creator who edits as much as they stream. It has 14 LCD macro keys for scenes, shortcuts and apps (Ulanzi lists plugins for streaming plus Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut), and it sits on a dock with two USB-C and two USB-A ports, SD and microSD card slots and 100W power delivery. Ulanzi lists Windows 10 and macOS 10.13 or later. It has fewer third-party plugins than Elgato’s software, but no Stream Deck comes with a hub.

What we like

  • Macro keys plus a USB hub and card reader
  • 100W PD pass-through charging
  • Ulanzi lists plugins for streaming and editing apps
  • Sold by Ulanzi’s official store, dispatched by Amazon

Worth knowing

  • Smaller plugin ecosystem than Elgato’s Stream Deck
  • Newer product (listed from May 2026), so less of a track record

Best lav mic for wireless kit owners

7. RØDE Lavalier GO (3.5mm TRS lav mic)

by RØDE

Who it’s for: Creators who already use a RØDE Wireless GO-style transmitter or a camera with a mic input, and want a hidden clip-on mic instead of the transmitter’s built-in one.

Verdict: A small upgrade that makes a big difference on camera. The Lavalier GO is a tiny clip-on mic with a 4mm omnidirectional capsule, so it’s forgiving about where you clip it. It plugs into a standard 3.5mm TRS input, which suits wireless transmitters, cameras and audio recorders. RØDE includes a foam pop shield and a mounting clip, and the 1.2m cable is reinforced with Kevlar. If they film on a phone with no wireless kit, the BOYA (#9) is the better pick.

What we like

  • Discreet 4mm capsule that hides on a collar
  • Kevlar-reinforced cable
  • Pop shield and clip included
  • Sold by Amazon when we checked

Worth knowing

  • TRS plug: it won’t plug straight into a phone
  • Short 1.2m cable – designed for a transmitter on your belt

Best phone tripod

8. ULANZI MT-44 Phone and Camera Tripod with Bluetooth Remote

by ULANZI

Who it’s for: Anyone filming on a phone who needs a stand for overhead shots, a selfie stick for vlogs and a desk tripod, without carrying three things.

Verdict: A great mid-size gift for phone creators. It folds down small, extends to around 1.5 metres, and has a 360° ball head so you can shoot landscape or portrait. There’s a cold shoe for a small light or mic and a 1/4-inch thread for a camera, and the box includes a Bluetooth remote so you can start recording from across the room. The legs are ABS plastic rather than aluminium, so treat it gently at full height.

What we like

  • Tripod, selfie stick and handgrip in one
  • Bluetooth remote included
  • Cold shoe for a mini light or mic
  • Sold by Ulanzi’s official store, dispatched by Amazon

Worth knowing

  • The listing gives two max heights (147cm and 150cm)
  • ABS plastic legs, so keep it out of the wind at full height

Best stocking filler

9. BOYA BY-M1 Clip-On Lavalier Microphone

by BOYA

Who it’s for: New creators who film talking-head videos on a phone or camera and want to sound better without spending much.

Verdict: The cheapest real upgrade on this list. It’s a wired clip-on mic with a long 6m cable, so you can sit back from the camera. The 3.5mm 4-pole plug works with phones and most cameras, and a 1/4-inch adapter, foam windscreen and LR44 battery are in the box. It won’t match a wireless kit for convenience, but for a stocking filler it’s a big step up from a phone’s built-in mic.

What we like

  • Long 6m cable for sitting back from the camera
  • Works with phones and cameras via a 3.5mm 4-pole plug
  • Battery, windscreen and 1/4-inch adapter included
  • Dispatched by Amazon when we checked

Worth knowing

  • Most new phones need a USB-C or Lightning to 3.5mm adapter (not included)
  • The listing writes the cable as “6-meter (20”)" – it’s 6m
  • Sold by Pro-Audio Shop-EU, a third-party seller

Which one should you get?

  • They stream from a PC: the Stream Deck MK.2, or the ULANZI D200H if they also need more ports.
  • They film on their phone: the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 combo for a big present, the ULANZI MT-44 for a mid-size one, the BOYA BY-M1 as a stocking filler.
  • They edit a lot of video: the Samsung T7 and the beyerdynamic headphones.
  • They want a cleaner-looking stream: the Elgato Green Screen XL.
  • They already have a wireless mic kit: the RØDE Lavalier GO.
  • Still building their setup? Start with our beginner streaming setup guide, then the streaming mics, webcams and mic arms guides.

What we left out and why

  • Mics, webcams, mic arms, lights and capture cards: they have their own guides on What2Buy, so we didn’t repeat them here. That includes the Stream Deck Neo, which is in our beginner setup guide.
  • DJI Osmo Mobile 7P + Mic Mini bundle: a good bundle, but the wireless mic half is covered in our TikTok mics guide, so we went for the Osmo Mobile 8 combo instead.
  • JOBY GripTight ONE phone stand: when we checked, it was only sold by Amazon US, so it would be an import.
  • beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohm and 32 Ohm: the 250 Ohm really needs a headphone amp, and the 32 Ohm had only nine left.
  • Chair-mounted green screens: the ones we found were from unknown brands with low stock and third-party sellers.

Prices change all the time. We don’t show prices on What2Buy – use the “Check price on Amazon” buttons for the current price.

FAQ

What do you buy a streamer who has everything?

Go for things that make the stream easier rather than another mic or webcam. A Stream Deck (#1) is the classic, a fast SSD (#3) is always useful, and good studio headphones (#4) get used every day.

What's a good gift for a TikTok or phone creator?

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 combo (#2) if you want to spoil them, the ULANZI MT-44 tripod (#8) as a mid-size gift, or the BOYA BY-M1 lav mic (#9) as a stocking filler. For wireless mics, see our separate guide to mics for TikTok Live.

Does a Stream Deck work with a PS5 or Xbox?

Not on its own. The Stream Deck MK.2 and ULANZI D200H both need a Windows PC or a Mac running their software, so they suit people who stream from a PC, including console players who use a capture card.

Is a green screen worth it for streaming?

If they want to key themselves over gameplay or hide a messy room, yes, but it needs even lighting to work well. The Elgato Green Screen XL (#5) is floor-standing and big, so check they have the space.

What's a cheap gift for a content creator?

The BOYA BY-M1 lav mic (#9) is the cheapest pick here, and it’s a real upgrade over a phone’s built-in mic. The ULANZI MT-44 tripod (#8) is the next step up.
